What does an event day look like for the burros?
For your event, we commit our entire day to you! To get picture-perfect, each burro gets 2-3 hours dedicated to them for a bath, blowout, and a hoof-oil pedicure. (Don’t worry - they love their spa days and get lots of treats during this time!)
For weddings, we arrive about 20 minutes before your event starts. This way, we do not cause distraction during your ceremony and allow time to get the burros packed down with your beverages. The contracted length of service begins at the start of the event’s cocktail hour.
What about the beverages?
CCBB does not provide the beverages, we simply serve whatever drink we are provided to load down the burro packs. Each burro is outfitted with a pack saddle and can carry 12-14 beverages at a time.
We are RBS certified in the state of California, allowing ease of mind that we will serve your guests safely and responsibly. Cold drinks will need to be iced down in advance, and our handlers will restock the pack saddles as needed.
Do I get to pick the decorations for the burros?
Absolutely!! We like to make sure the burros match the aesthetic of your event with their floral decorations. We have several floral crowns and garlands to choose from, or you can opt to have your florist provide your own flower crowns/garlands.
The burros do best for outdoor events, and the event holder must have permission from their venue to have live animals onsite.
